I spend a lot of my time designing and drawing things to help people communicate and solve problems, educating young people, and making weird art.

Professional Services
Live Graphic Recording & Training
While Graphic Recording, I actively listen to presentations and dialogues, synthesize what I hear, and in real time visually depict that synthesis for all to see. Graphic Recording ignites something in people - it opens up new insights, sparks new connections, and inspires new conversations.
Animated Explainer Videos
Video and animation can be so much fun. When used well, it can take a complex, challenging topic or set of messages and transform them into an engaging story that grabs people and takes them on a ride, helping them develop a deeper and more personal relationship with the content.
Workshop Design & Facilitation
Meetings can be pretty boring and ineffective in getting work done, but they don’t have to be. A well designed and facilitated meeting or training experience can not only yield powerful, actionable results, it can also be engaging, inspiring, and fun.

SORT OF TRUE - So we’ll call it the lie. I did build a monkey puppet at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago for a production of The Libertine that J-Mal starred in. I also sanded the tip of my finger off while making a set of wooden phalluses for that show, but that’s another story.
