The Nature Conservancy Solar Siting Tool Explainer
I created an animated explainer video for The Nature Conservancy to promote their Georgia Low Impact Solar Siting Tool (GA-LISST), a publicly-available mapping resource that helps guide large-scale solar development in Georgia toward areas of high solar suitability and low environmental sensitivity. The video distilled these technical concepts into engaging visuals and narrative, highlighting how solar developers, local governments, utilities, and landowners can use the map to proactively choose sites that minimize impacts on natural ecosystems, reduce risk of opposition, and accelerate the clean-energy transition. The result: the video became a key part of the campaign, helping to increase awareness of GA-LISST, support its adoption across stakeholders, and strengthen The Nature Conservancy’s leadership in “siting renewables right.”
